Part-Time Online English Teacher/Tutor
NOTE: THIS IS A HOME-BASED JOB
Makati City (National Capital Reg)
Responsibilities:
-Facilitate Online English Tutorials/Lessons to Japanese students through Skype at home
-Teach basic English: correct student's pronunciation and grammar
-Handle students from different levels and age groups and assess the level of students
-Choose your own work schedule:
At least four (3) hours a day from 7:00PM to 12:00MN
Choose between two shifts:
1) 4 to 5 days in a week including Saturday or Sunday or both
2) Weekends only
-Have the necessary requirements (computer/laptop, reliable internet connection, webcam, headset, quiet environment or noise cancelling headset, and Skype ID)
Requirements:
Must be willing to attend an intensive 10 DAY training in Makati City.
Must have a computer, reliable internet connection (no USB MODEM please), and a headset with microphone (USB headset with microphone for Macintosh users, NO dangling microphones)..
Knowledgeable in the English grammar
Punctual / MUST HAVE time management skills (Attendance confirmation is a MUST)

- Has a reliable internet connection (at least 1Mbps internet plan or 0.30Mbps for download/upload speed)

2- You need to attend training in Makati if ever you get accepted
3- We would love to have you as one of our online tutors. However, you need to attend training for ten days in the office in Makati. As of now, we don't have online training.

ReplyDeleteI am an online English teacher for Koreans and I have been teaching for more than six years now. However, my heart is for Japanese. Most K-pop fans in our office find me weird and there are a few who understand my being otaku. I want to shift from Korean to Japanese online. I have Globe DSL 2 mbps at home however I am living along a busy street where there are many tricycles and passersby. Is there any reliable headset which could help me to at least minimize noise? DeleteYou may try downloading a software that cancels background noise. We may help you with that during the interview. For the headsets, look for those with "noise-cancelling feature". We hope to see you soon!

ReplyDeleteThe most important things we check during the Online interview are your equipment. The questions are related to the answers you give on the application form you will submit after you send your resume. :) The interview will just take 30 minutes maximum.
